It was a great holiday. Everyone, both at the Lodge and on the activities, was very friendly and engaging. Good variety of food (including vegetarian options) at the lodge. Katka on reception was really helpful. The Spanish snowshoeing guides were particularly helpful

It was all great - we loved driving the husky sled, snowmobiling at night to see the Northern Lights, active experiences like snowshoing and skiing -- really everything! Graham was fantastic in helping us book the trip and get all the additional activities we wanted.

Saw the Northern Lights on 3 nights !! Husky safari and Reindeer sleigh ride were great. Our favourite experience was the snowmobile because we saw the Northern Lights, but loved Husky Safari too. It was one of the best breaks we have ever had !!

Excellent service all round. We had a fantastic time. We enjoyed all the activities in the wilderness.

The most memorable part of the holiday was seeing the Northern Lights. The dog sled ride was my favourite experience. The guides were all excellent.

City of Tromsø is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed just being there with lovely people , a lovely hotel , great food and good weather too. The taxi drivers to and from the airport were excellent.

We enjoyed seeing the lights twice! Out snowmobiling in -33. The lovely hotel and staff and of course the staff from Aurora Zone. Jenni our snowshoeing guide was amazing. Just a massive thank you to Graham, Kate and Jade for all their help and patience in finally getting us to Finland.

We enjoyed the husky sledding and visit to the Reindeer farm. Loved all aspects of the holiday. We had a fantastic time even though we didn't get to see the Northern Lights, but that is beyond your control. This was our first holiday of this type and we really enjoyed all of it. It will go down as one of our best holiday's ever! I would definitely recommend The Aurora Zone and the Wilderness Hotel to friends and family.

I enjoyed seeing the Northern Lights and travelling in the husky sleigh. Also the first class organising of the whole experience taking into consideration of my disability. From my point of view everything was spot on. All staff and guides had been made aware of my disability, visual impairment, and they made sure that I was safe in “ their hands”. The restaurant staff were very attentive to my requests. Again with my visual impairment they brought my food to the table as it would have been difficult for me to do self service. I was very anxious with all the extra paperwork needed caused by Covid, but after a few phone calls to the office and the help and reassurance from the staff I was able to complete all paperwork for entry into Finland. As I was a single traveler with a visual impairment all the necessary help and support at the airports,on the plane and at the hotel were in place for me to have safe trouble free trip to Finland.

I cannot really choose my favourite part of the holiday as every day brought its own unique and wonderful experience. When you don't think it could get any better and you wake up to a new day, you are greeted with another magical and wonderful experience. If I had to choose a favourtie activity, I guess it would be the trip on the snowtrain into the forest, lighting the campfire and then we were so lucky to see the Northern Lights. Totally magical.The guides were all excellent. Again, so welcoming and were very patient and understanding of the different levels of fitness within our group. They were more than happy to answer any questions you might have which gave you more confidence on some of the activities you were doing for the first time. The whole holiday booking sequence was faultless. We were kept up to date with the COVID vaccine situation which kept changing a few weeks before we left the UK. Would highly recommend this trip to our friends.....and we do! It was the most magical, wonderful holiday I have ever experienced. A once in a lifetime experience and I LOVED every minute of it.

I had a great time looking at the Aurora and going on the reindeer ride, as well as adding on the Husky ride and trip to the Arctic Ocean. My hotel at the Holiday Village Valle was great too and everyone was very helpful and knowledgable.

The team at Korpikartano were equally as keen to help to ensure we got the best experience.  The travel experts were brilliant at keeping us informed as to travel requirements considering the speed that things were changing with Covid testing.  Simply perfect from the rustic charm of the accommodation to the knowledge of the guides, to the friendliness of all the staff, to the fantastic location - perfect!! I just wanted to send you a quick email regarding the holiday. We got back last night. We had a FABULOUS time it was everything we thought it would be. The staff at the Hotel and the staff who do the activities were all lovely. The food was really good too! We also loved the room, with the Sauna. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for all your help finding us the perfect holiday. I would always recommend your company, if anyone was looking for this type of holiday. We also got to see the lights on two nights! Shame to be back so soon! Thank you again.

We got very lucky with the Northern Lights and although we didn't see any for the first 3 nights the last night gave us an amazing display. The best daytime activity by far was the Husky sledging.  I thought the help and information given for the ever-changing covid travel rules was brilliant. Very clear and helpful.

I would just like to say thank you for all your support enabling us to visit Finland. We were very concerned about travelling due to covid and the restrictions enforced in Finland during our stay. However we had an absolute wonderful time, the hotel did everything possible to make our stay safe and very enjoyable. I can honestly say this was once of our most memorable holidays and I cannot recommend it enough. The huskie ride, ice hole fishing, driving a snowmobile were just fantastic, but I feel being left to ourselves to walk through the woods and ski on the frozen lake were just the best. Not forgetting seeing the Northern Lights twice was a bonus. We would certainly like to book a holiday with your company again in the future.

It was wonderful to leave the UK for a short time. I was particularly impressed at the wonderful effort put into getting the Lateral Flow Tests to the airport so we were able to be compliant with the Government requirements for returning to the UK. In Finland, I loved the enthusiasm and commitment of all the team at Menesjarvi.  It was a beautiful place and I felt so lucky that I was in such a remote and beautiful place and could enjoy the lake without running into lots of other tourists.  All the activities were brilliant fun, the kit was great as was all the equipment.  Mika did a brilliant job at explaining the Aurora and helping me to take photos. All my questions were answered. I thought the packing list etc was invaluable - really helpful detail about the layering up. I took the right kit! Really impressed as I've already said by the fact that the company organized the Lateral Flow Tests to be delivered to the gate at Heathrow just before we left (1 less worry). Thank you for enabling me to celebrate my 60th birthday abroad during these difficult covid times!  It is great to think that I spent my 40th in Peru, 50th in Guatemala and 60th in Finland!

Myself and my partner booked our holiday with the Aurora zone to celebrate our 30th Birthdays, from start to finish we were given excellent service, faultless to a tee. We sent out many queries about the holiday and the team give us swift responses, we were extremely impressed with how quick they responded . The Aurora zone also helped us with extra bookings we had requested such as the sauna and jacuzzi, the team were always available to help and no question or request was no bother to them, an absolute five star service and the sort of customer service that you don't see very often! When we started our holiday in London the covid guidelines changed which resulted in us needing to test whilst we were way. I was so scared and worried about how we were going to get a test whilst being away, but within 20 minutes of the change in rules the Aurora zone contacted us to inform us that they would arrange for tests to be delivered to the airport for us and to focus on enjoying our holiday, this sort of service again gave us the reassurance that we could indeed enjoy our magical holiday. Upon check in there was tests waiting for us, which made the stress disappear. We are so grateful that the Aurora zone took the stress away from us so that we could enjoy Lapland, it was the most magical holiday we could have ever wished for with a surprise proposal at the end, so myself and my fiancé would like to thank the Aurora zone for best holiday and we now have the most amazing memories to look back on , we will defiantly book with Aurora zone in the future!

What was the most memorable part of your holiday? Husky sledding through Lapland was by far the most memorable and magical experience Were there any particular guides or staff member who stood out to you and made a real difference during your holiday? The barman made us lovely mulled cocktails that weren’t on the menu (he added alcohol to a mulled juice drink- but we loved it!!) Did you find our travel experts knowledgeable and helpful? Yes they were extremely helpful and I was very impressed How would you rate our after-sales support? Amazing! We had a document that told us everything we needed to know including how to dress in the cold weather and we would have been lost without it. It was all amazingly helpful

The accommodation, the area, the people, the experiences it was all fantastic! All the people I had communications with were so helpful and always answering my queries promptly. In particular, who on the 6th Dec, went out of her way to help me source the last minute lateral flow tests we needed to take with us (that had been sprung on travellers by the Government 24 hours before!)and calling me back to check i was ok and had everything sorted. They were all kind and helpful. All the staff we had contact with were lovely. From the reception staff, housekeeping, the waitresses and guides, they were sofriendly, kind and helpful. 

To see the Northern Lights was simply amazing. The trips were perfect, the right length & the guides so attentive & informative.

If someone had told me before our holiday that I would be capable of managing my own team of huskies and spending 2 days travelling over frozen lakes in the Arctic with them, I would have called them bonkers! It was TOTALLY AMAZING! The dogs were so friendly and so happy and you could tell they just loved running together pulling the sledge. We had magnificent weather too, loads and loads and loads of snow and blue-sky days, so the views across the lakes and forest runs were outstanding.

We really felt in safe hands with Aurora zone throughout and they planned an amazing week of activities which we could tailor to best suit us. Torassieppi is an incredible destination, with the friendliest and most helpful staff and guides ever (and the absolute best food throughout - and they were great at catering to our dietary requirements!) The activities and guides really made it special, from a romantic night-time reindeer sleigh ride to snowshoeing through the Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park. On top of that, there was so much to do locally, including a reindeer and husky farm, winter village with incredible ice sculptures, and lots of great places to head off cross-country skiing/snowshoeing/fat biking. The real icing on the cake was seeing the northern lights, but even if we didn't it would've been an unforgettable trip. We also need to mention that we found both Aurora zone and Torassieppi to be really LGBT+ friendly, and we felt really comfortable throughout to be ourselves and enjoy our honeymoon in the incredible landscape of northern Finland.
