Thank you to everyone at the above and yourselves for a fantastic service. Timo and the team there were all so lovely and helpful and run a tight ship - nothing was too much, whatever the time,they were all brilliant. We loved all the activities, the setting, the facilities, the weather... There's usually something I can find to complain about after a holiday but on this occasion I'm stumped! Totally fell in love with Finland - thank you - it was worth every penny - please pass on our thanks to all at the hotel. PS we didn't see the lights but awesome though they may be, this really didn't matter with everything else that we had to do, and it's left us with a reason to try again another time.

Loved the snowmobile trips across Lake Inari - so much fun. The activity guides were fantastic and the staff at Nellim were amazing. They couldn't do enough for you. A really fantastic venue and great activities on offer. We had the pleasure of having the owners there while we were staying and they were friendly and helpful. I'm highly recommending Nellim to friends and family.

Our local guide, Scotty, was OUTSTANDING. So interesting, and couldn't do enough for us. He really made the holiday in fact – so, so good. The activities were all fantastic. The snowmobiling was the first to come to mind, especially the night safari as it was so pretty and memorable. But the dog-sledding and their 'village' afterwards was also very memorable. Really hard to pick one because when you start to think about them they were all great.

All excellent; really loved reindeer sledge ride and huskies and snowmobiles - oh all of it!

Husky ride was absolutely fabulous. I guess my husband and I were particularly excited about this activity prior to departure but we were not disappointed! The guides were great, we spent a good amount of time out there with the dogs and the landscapes were breathtaking. Something I will never forget!

Favourite activity? The dog ride. The whole set up was fantastic. The owner was there and answered every question that was asked of him - and some of those questions were stupid!! His children were there, giving the sense that it is a family business, I was very happy that we were able to support them. We were allowed to hold the puppies! The whole experience was fantastic and would love to go back!

A fantastic holiday! Everything, apart from being picked up at the airport promptly, was great. I want to go again. I really envy the Sámi their simple life style. They (activities) were all good, and the guides were terrific, putting my mind at ease when nerves kicked in! I would say that our guide Matte was great. The dog sleighing was amazing!

The whole tour was amazing; I found the staff before the trip were 10 out 10. Kept us informed of issues with the hotel and the best way to go about booking as I am located in Australia. This website that holds all the information and documentation is great, good to have everything in one place. I have recommended this company to everyone and was one of best experiences in my life. The whole holiday was amazing, the husky rides were out of this world and the whole experience was worth every penny. Daniel our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and was always there to answer questions.

I have never been anywhere that I have enjoyed so much. It was simply perfect! We had never done any of the activities before and all were enjoyable but if forced to choose, my favourites were the dog sledging and snowshoe trek.

The holiday itself exceeded our expectations, and there was always something to do. We saw the Lights on the first two nights, so pressure off!! Everyone at the resort was very helpful and went that extra yard when required and, with the exception of the ski-ing, due to dodgy knees, we joined-in all the activities - it was great, thanks.

Our family holiday at Sorbyn was an absolute delight. Cecilia at the Lodge was always helpful and Love is by any standard a world class guide. All of them (activities) had magic. Snowmobiles, kicks in the evening, dogsled was amazing with Kim and Linda, the surprise trip beyond the Arctic Circle and of course seeing the Northern Lights on a frozen lake after a skidoo journey. Everything amazing.

Our activity guide was superb he went the extra mile, did everything possible to ensure that we had a great experience. He was very knowledgeable with regard to the locality we were in and was personable. The Husky ride was a magical experience. It wasn't a token visit/ride, it took a couple of hours and was fabulous! The people leading were excellent in knowledge and expertise. The scenery was spectacular and varied. From the forest to a frozen river bed; the sense of wilderness was profound as was the silence and space. The dogs just wanted to pull and got restless when we stopped. In terms or organisation, no addition is needed. The hotel was basic but clean, the people at the hotel were most helpful and accommodating. The hotel was situated in fabulous environment, with scenery that was spectacular. This was a holiday that lived up to expectations, including the ability to see the Northern Lights. The weather is something that we are really unprepared for. It is so easy to talk about "very cold weather" but one has to experience it to truly understand what very cold weather actually is!!

Most enjoyable activity: Seeing the Lights from the Aurora Camp - why is pretty obvious! Huskies and snowmobiles and reindeer sledding also great fun.

It is the only holiday that we have ever been on where we can honestly say that nothing could have been better. It is impossible to pick one activity that was the best as they were all great in different ways.

Local guides and activity guides really friendly and helpful. Even took time to find my phone, lost in the snow at the aurora camp! Most enjoyable activity? Difficult one! Snowmobiling to the reindeer farm as it was a 5 hour mixed day and the weather was good too!

Most enjoyable: Seeing the Aurora, of course. Brilliant. I was surprised at how good all the activities were. I thought the reindeer farm and dogs might be a bit naff, but absolutely not, because they were genuine people doing something they liked doing and we were just there to hear them. Your response when we had weather related transport problems on way out was fantastic.

All of the activities were personal, awe-inspiring, and unforgettable. Our favourite was the snowmobile tour of the wilderness, where we spent a few hours with the activity guide driving through the snow and drinking warm juice in the kota. It was just the three of us and gave us a great opportunity to take in the beautiful surroundings and learn a great deal about Luosto. Everything was perfect! Thanks to everyone for their part in organising our holiday, especially Andy who dealt with my initial enquiry right through to handing the package over to the admin team. Our holiday was very last minute, I booked only 2 weeks in advance. Andy did a great job in finding us everything we could have hoped for.

The husky safari was exciting, participative and a quiet way to enjoy the beautiful forest environment. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora every night, it was stunning. The location of Hotel Korpikartano is ideal, no light pollution so no need to travel to hunt the Aurora, just stroll down the path to the lake. We enjoyed everything, the weather was perfect for all the activities. The staff and guides exceeded expectations. We were made to feel welcome and special right up to the moment of departure at the airport. Hotel Korpikartano is professionally run by extremely knowledgeable owners. It operates smoothly with great attention to detail and the safety of their clients.

Andy and Dawn were really, really helpful pre-trip. Our trip was land-basis, so we arrived to the hotel earlier than the group . We were waiting for the group for briefing meeting, they were late and briefing postponed for an hour. Our guide Ben came to our room to inform us about the delay which was nice. None of the activities were "just touristic". You really experience them like a local. You don't spend 15 minutes and take photos with huskies for example, you go for a ride for 1,5hours. It has cons and pros of course. But we liked it.

We were delighted that we saw the Aurora Lights for five nights in total, exceptionally well on three. The organisation and administration of the holiday were great. Muotka was smaller, more intimate, less sophisticated but somehow more attractive, and easy to enjoy between activities going for walks etc. Most enjoyable : Seeing the Aurora Lights (the bit that you can't guarantee!!), Snowshoeing in the National Park at Muotka. Snowmobiling on the lake at Nellim. Husky dogs in a snow blizzard!

We had the time of our lives at Muotka, Finland and will definitely be going back. We went for one week in December 2015...fab, fab, fab...thanks Aurora Zone

The hotel was excellent and catered for my dietary needs very well. All the staff were very friendly and helpful as were the activity guides.

Ben the local guide was excellent even when there was no Aurora to see due to cloud/snow, he kept the group entertained. Most enjoyable? Just walking around in a beautiful unspoilt landscape. The husky sleigh experience was fantastic. Improvements? Get rid of the clouds! A thoroughly enjoyable trip and we got to see the lights at midnight on our last night which of course was the highlight but even if we hadn't we would have had a great holiday.
