Abisko - Tailor Made
We had a wonderful trip and apart from the airlines losing our bag (which is being returned soon) we were very pleased with nearly everything. The sad thing is that despite trying we never managed to see the northern lights. All the other activities however made up for that dissapointment. We would certainly recommend the trip to our friends. Staying in the ICEHOTEL which was just out of this world. Sleeping in the -5 C room with all the ice sculptures was amazing and we were very warm.

We cannot think of any improvement needed. Please switch on the Northern Lights every night!
We liked the husky dog sledging because we experienced the energy of the working dogs pulling the sledge. We were very happy to see the Northern Lights on our last night of our holiday, from the frozen Lake Inari near the hotel. Booking the holiday with your firm was easy with no hassle. The transfer between airport and hotel was efficient and the activities were well organised. We had an enjoyable holiday without any worries. The guides were very knowledgable and attentive to our needs. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The warm clothing provided was essential to keep us warm.

A review of Wilderness Hotel Inari - Auroras by the Frozen Lake
Loved it, looking at all your other lovely activity and wildlife holidays now and recommending you to everyone we know. Thank you!
Just back from Muotka, a fantastic recommendation by Amy, thank you. It was exactly what my son wanted, remote and full of excellent outdoor activities, we had a brilliant time. I thought the accommodation and facilities were outstanding and we even got a glimpse of the lights on our final night in a kota thanks to their excellent Aurora alarm system.

A review of Muotka - Northern Lights Adventure
Exceptional holiday, wonderful packed programme in a stunning country. The Finnish were without exception very friendly, lovely people.
Thoroughly enjoyed all activities, snowmobiling was great. The night time snowmobiling was ethereal, quite magical. The day snowmobiling was quite a contrast as much faster. The guides were great, extremely helpful. Snow shoe hike was hard work and good fun. The reindeer rides were very gentle and through stunning surroundings.

Torassieppi - Lakeside Auroras
I can’t praise the staff and guides at Torassieppi enough. They went out of their way to accommodate me as a solo traveller, providing extra staff to allow me to take part in activities which require pairs. They stayed up very late when I missed my connection, and were all freindly and helpful throughout

Overall two very happy customers with many fond memories!! Thank you to the team
We cannot recommend this trip highly enough. We had such a wonderful week. Both Muotka and Nellim were lovely places to stay, we were really pleased to experience two destinations and would definitely recommend staying in both locations. All of the activities were amazing experiences, even with no previous experience we enjoyed everything. All of the guides were extremely professional and we were well looked after, with a warm, welcoming and friendly manner which made all the difference. We were lucky enough to see an amazing display of the Aurora, but even without that the whole holiday would have been fantastic. Already planning our return trip!

A review of Muotka and Nellim - The Great Aurora Adventure
We had a fabulous time!
The accommodation is great: people very friendly and efficient, apartment very comfortable and clean, food excellent. When you report back to them, please pass on our thanks again ... We were so very lucky: Aurora showing well the second night we stayed. Activities were great fun. So many highlights ... snowmobile to reindeer farm ... feeding reindeer and lassooing a wooden one! Lots of interesting info from our guides ... Nellim church and the Russian border ... lunch by the log flume, shared by a pair of Siberian tits and a shrew ... speeding along Lake Inari ... The Auroras, obviously. Our guide, Bjorn, was very knowledgeable, good company and an excellent fire-builder. Husky sledding was absolutely brilliant ... lots of interesting info from the musher and family ... the dogs are amazingly cuddly. Cross country skiing was a lot of fun ... We packed a lot into 2 days and enjoyed it all immensely.

Thank you so much.  We did see the Northern Lights! Three nights, better ever night. Favourite place was glamping! I would have liked to be there two, not just one night. Sommaroy, Tromso, Copenhagen great. Today Oslo. I cannot thank all of you enough. I will remember this till the day I die!

A review of Jeris – Winter Cottage Aurora Escape
We had a wonderful trip
I would highly recommend Northern Lights Village at Saariselka. The village is beautifully designed with fabulous, warm, cosy, glass roofed cabins all facing north, so you can lie in bed snug and warm and watch the greatest show on earth, and we did. The cabins are very well equipped with modern stylish furnishings and free toiletries. I would recommend requesting cabins 1-20 if you can because they are on the northernmost perimeter facing the forest so you get no light pollution to spoil the view. You would not have this experience in a hotel. Dont forget to ask reception for an aurora alert to wake you if the aurora appears during the night. The activities are great. We tried snowmobiling, husky dog sledding, reindeer sleigh ride and nightime aurora hunt in a heated sleigh. To be honest, the heated sleigh wasn't very comfortable, or well heated, but you are only actually in it for about 20 minutes before you stop at a viewing point and have warm drinks in a sami tent while waiting for the lights to appear. We were lucky enough to see the lights on 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed so we felt blessed. I would highly recommend that you understand how to set your camera for aurora photography befopre you go otherwise you might be disappointed with the results. Luckily our guide took some great photos with his camera which you can purchase online when you get home. Another piece of advice is that if you decide to do the husky dog sledding you will be expected to drive the sled, or for couples one can drive whilst one can sit in the sled. It was great fun and the dogs seemed to really enjoy running. Dont underestimate how cold it is and remember to wear a few layers including thermals, hats and gloves at all times, and a face covering snood or balaclava is also good for cold activites. The stylish restaurant is self-service buffet style and always includes a vegatarian dish. There is also a very attractive ice bar which is a must-do before you go. The village of Saariselka is about 20 minutes walk away and has some restaurants and shops if you fancy a change.

Totally superb trip to Torassieppi, Finland
We have just returned from the most wonderful trip to Torassieppi. Everything was so well organised - without us feeling that we were being "shepherded". We booked a balanced programme and all the activities were well run and far exceeded our expectations. Snowshoeing in the national park and at night, cross country skiing in the silent landscape, craft afternoon and ice fishing & lunch in the ice hotel, all were absolutely excellent. The best though had to be the husky sledging and the local culture day with reindeer sleigh ride was a close second. We were really lucky and saw the Northern Lights on three nights. One night was totally stunning, even with the naked eye! Getting photos of the Northern Lights is not always easy but we were really lucky that our fellow travellers were happy to share their photos! Our accommodation was a cabin with a fireplace. It was warm and comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers. It was perfect to have a small kitchen to make drinks and snacks between trips out to the frozen lake to look for the northern lights. The food in the restaurant was absolutely excellent. Well prepared and presented, varied and always tasty. The staff were friendly and the small number of guests means there is a very cosy atmosphere. Torassieppi is in an ideal location. All the activities (except the national park snowshoe walk) took place at Torassieppi so we didn't have to wait around for transfers. The cabins are right next to the lake so it is easy to walk onto the lake to go Aurora spotting. We would completely recommend this holiday.

Saariselkä - Northern Lights Village - Tailor Made
Generally, awesome trip, we saw the northern lights 2 out of the 4 nights, the second showing was fantastic and even managed to get a couple of ropey photos. The alarm as part of the package was a good idea, as this is 15 euros a night otherwise, although it does make you jump at daft o'clock in the morning. Snowmobile was by far and away the best, my wife now wants one!! Petri ?? Our guide was brilliant, we got lucky and were the only ones on that particular trip, so he stopped a couple of extra times to point things out, including Russia?? Husky trip was brilliant although we found the 2 hour included sitting around a fire drinking hot fruit juice, which while lovely would have preferred more time with the dogs.

Thank you Aurora Zone for an experience we will never forget
I cannot praise The Aurora Zone too highly and am busy telling all my friends and family what a wonderful holiday I had and how good your customer service is. Cross-country skiing was a discovery for me and the guide let me enjoy it to the full, even though I was out longer than planned. She gave me expert advice and I had the best possible experience. Everything about this trip was wonderful, from start to finish. The customer service from the Aurora Zone team was extraordinary; we asked to postpone our trip not long before we were due to go in November because there was no snow and they not only offered us a choice of alternative dates without any hesitation but then refunded us some money as the March trips were slightly cheaper.  The Finnair flights were great, we were met by a very friendly and cheerful driver for the transfer to the Muotka Wilderness Hotel and then given a warm welcome by the Manager. The hotel was comfortable, fed us very well indeed and organised all of the activities beautifully, providing first-rate equipment and excellent guides. We were very fortunate to see the Northern Lights three nights running and that felt like the icing on the cake, we enjoyed the activities so much that even if the lights had not appeared, we would have had a wonderful trip. I am now recommending your company to my family and friends!

Really impressed with the way the staff in the UK answered promptly any query I had and the very efficient way they handled the booking from start to finish.
Overall an excellent experience, with the highlight being the "aurora" on full display on our first night. As a party of 6, we really enjoyed the activities and the clothing provided was very good to combat the cold. Really impressed with the way the staff in the UK answered promptly any query I had and the very efficient way they handled the booking from start to finish. Also, the gift of wine for my birthday (we went there to celebrate my 60th birthday which was earlier in the year) was a lovely personal touch and showed that the staff had listened to why we were going and a lovely gesture.

An excellent trip, and it was great to get three nights of good Aurora plus four days of clear blue skies.
The food at Hamn I Senja was excellent, although it was a little strange to pick two out of three courses each evening. The trip dossier was very informative and the trip followed the plan well. Staff at both hotels were very good - enthusiastic and helpful. The evening snowshoe aurora hunt was fun, and seeing the scenery on the minibus tour & the boat was spectacular.
