It is obvious that a lot of effort is put into taking visitors to places where there was maximum chance of seeing them. We liked all the other activities and we liked the combination of physical activities (cross country skiing) and less energetic activities, like snowmobiles. The huskies were great, as usual.

Nangu really was an absolutely magical setting and fantastic holiday

The Aurora hunt by snowmobile, was brilliant the guide was great, and snowmobiling at night was magical.

What an experience. Everybody was so relaxed and obviously knew their areas of expertise. Would highly recommend this holiday and the company obviously. Certainly ticked the bucket list of a lot of activities.

Can't think of any areas where it could be improved.

This holiday for me was years in the planning. When I saw this particular “package” on your web site it covered all of the activities (and more beside) that I was looking to experience. I would like to thank everyone at Aurora Zone for your expert help and advice at every stage of this booking not forgetting all the staff and guides at the resort who’s knowledge and experience was invaluable and together made for my wife and myself an absolutely unforgettable holiday experience. Ian is a vegetarian and felt that the choice and quality of food were excellent. Some of the dishes were truly delicious and the chefs did very well. In fact, given that there was generally only one main on offer, it was excellent every time. The guides were all very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They were all dedicated to giving us an exceptional holiday. The reindeer herding was fantastic and we were very interested to hear about Petri's life and media activities! We felt honoured to spend time with him. We would class this holiday as a once-in-a-lifetime experience, which we will never forget. Having said that, we are thinking about doing another holiday with more husky sledding! The whole booking process was very easy and we appreciated your quick responses to our questions. We would like to thank everyone involved for making this a truly wonderful holiday.

Hard to choose (a favourite activity) - but the husky sledding was incredible as I'm a 'dog person'. I was surprised how much i enjoyed the snowshoeing, we had perfect weather and our guide Emmi was very knowledgeable. The scenery was incredible. The reindeer day was also great, the day was jam-packed and we loved every second of it.

I enjoyed every part of my stay. The scenery was magical and everything ran smoothly.

All the activities were excellent and the snowshoe walk into the forest in search of Aurora Borealis was also fantastic especially as we were privileged enough to see a seriously good light show. Overall we absolutely loved our trip to Finland, the activities were excellent and the pace generally about right.

Loved it all, so hard to choose. I think the husky sledging (was the favourite) as it was so peaceful and fun.

The husky ride and reindeer herder day were the highlights for me. Not only were the whole events well organised but the information the guides gave us added to the whole experience. We had no expectations when we booked this holiday as it was our first ‘cold’ holiday. We both thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

The Aurora everyday, of course, were amazing. Food absolutely fantastic with decent wine choice. Just perfect - pricing is debatable but such a vacation in idle places are always pricy. If you want to be alone there is a price to pay.

Snowmobile safari and husky safari were the highlights. Saw Northern Lights brilliantly at both centres. Muotka, an amazing place and hotel. Very efficient and well run, yet was incredibly welcoming and cosy. It had an intimate and friendly feel to it. Hotel staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. There seemed to be a generally fun and relaxed atmosphere to the whole place.

Lasting impression is of the friendliness of all the staff. Very impressed.

A wonderful time was had by both. The only improvement would be to have a map/route planner for occasions when you went out on your own. Thank you to all involved in making the short break an unforgettable experience. Helped particularly by the Aurora joining us on 3 nights out of 4!! Not something you can control!!

A fantastic trip all round

The husky safari was great. Something totally different from the norm; the right balance of adrenalin required to turn fear into excitement and enjoyment. An added bonus is the beauty of the otherwise inaccessible routes you get to see.

The whole experience was fantastic with excellent guides and informative staff.

Very well planned and had an excellent time, would do again but probably summer. Loved the snow mobile; also just seeing the northern lights, even from hotel. We both had a great time, and will recommend this trip. Already have had enquiries.

We had a very nice stay in the hotel. We were lucky to be there during a solar storm and saw the aurora borealis each night we were there.

The husky safari! It was a memorable experience to get an hour run with the sled and the dogs. Thank you for an amazing experience with wonderful staff!

Would rebook with your company, the reps from the hotel/lodge are amazing and made the holiday, they were excellent and attentive. Great credit to the operations

All of the activities were a great experience.

Awesome, beautiful, peaceful yet active holiday that we just loved. Best holiday! We enjoyed all of the activities but had a fantastic day for the reindeer farm day. We spent 5/6 hours on snowmobiles going to the reindeer farm. We crossed beautiful lakes and drove through snowy forests. It was just stunning. We had an amazing time and all of our tour guides were totally fantastic and were very knowledgeable. They work so hard and we appreciated all that they did for us. We didn't see the northern lights ad this was such a shame however, it did not spoil our holiday and we loved very second.

I enjoyed the snowmobiles, whilst I believe Sue would highlight the Husky sled and Ice fishing as her favourite activities. But overall we enjoyed all the activities and would happily repeat the experience. I would like to add a special thanks to the two reps Anna and Jenni who ensured that our holiday progressed without difficulty, addressing all of our enquiries without hesitation or complaint and who went the extra mile to help when things did not not quite go to plan - We were both very impressed with both reps and would ask that you forward our thanks for their role in making this a most memorable holiday.
