We were extremely happy with our choice of holiday and with our own itineraries. The food and cottage accommodation was excellent and beyond our expectations. Dog sledding - Great experience. The surroundings, weather, guides and dogs themselves all contributed to make it a truly memorable experience.

I cannot praise The Aurora Zone too highly and am busy telling all my friends and family what a wonderful holiday I had and how good your customer service is. Cross-country skiing was a discovery for me and the guide let me enjoy it to the full, even though I was out longer than planned. She gave me expert advice and I had the best possible experience. Everything about this trip was wonderful, from start to finish. The customer service from the Aurora Zone team was extraordinary; we asked to postpone our trip not long before we were due to go in November because there was no snow and they not only offered us a choice of alternative dates without any hesitation but then refunded us some money as the March trips were slightly cheaper.  The Finnair flights were great, we were met by a very friendly and cheerful driver for the transfer to the Muotka Wilderness Hotel and then given a warm welcome by the Manager. The hotel was comfortable, fed us very well indeed and organised all of the activities beautifully, providing first-rate equipment and excellent guides. We were very fortunate to see the Northern Lights three nights running and that felt like the icing on the cake, we enjoyed the activities so much that even if the lights had not appeared, we would have had a wonderful trip. I am now recommending your company to my family and friends!

Overall an excellent experience, with the highlight being the "aurora" on full display on our first night. As a party of 6, we really enjoyed the activities and the clothing provided was very good to combat the cold. Really impressed with the way the staff in the UK answered promptly any query I had and the very efficient way they handled the booking from start to finish. Also, the gift of wine for my birthday (we went there to celebrate my 60th birthday which was earlier in the year) was a lovely personal touch and showed that the staff had listened to why we were going and a lovely gesture.

The food at Hamn I Senja was excellent, although it was a little strange to pick two out of three courses each evening. The trip dossier was very informative and the trip followed the plan well. Staff at both hotels were very good - enthusiastic and helpful. The evening snowshoe aurora hunt was fun, and seeing the scenery on the minibus tour & the boat was spectacular.

The holiday was excellent and extremely well organised. I am so impressed by your Company. The transport all turned up when they were supposed to and were friendly and helpful.

Oh, it was all the most enjoyable. Borrowing snow shoes and just walking on the frozen lake, the snow train at night through the forest searching the sky for the Aurora, the exhilarating huskie drive and I suppose the most memorable the night reindeer sleigh. The deep silence broken only by the plod of hooves, the complete darkness and deep cold adding to the magic. And Mia’s true understanding of each of her animals giving us total confidence. Then her voice as she called out ‘Aurora’ and there it was. Use stunning. The next day the genuine delight of Hannah? as she asked if I’d seen it and her true pleasure for me. Such lovely caring staff. I HAVE told everyone! The staff are truly committed to doing everything to make sure our stay was enjoyable. They were living the magic with us and were as thrilled as we were with our Aurora sighting and our pleasure in the activities. We were delighted to find a bottle of fizz in our cabin as a birthday celebration. So kind.

Everything was excellent and the guides were very knowledgeable and made everything so interesting.

The guides especially Ben as we had him as a guide every day was fantastic so friendly, helpful and full of knowledge on each activity. Accommodation was perfect and getting to fall asleep under the stars and being able to watch the Aurora for you bed was just magical! And the activity's... We lets just say we did not stop smiling on each one! such wonderful memories made! Thanks again

We enjoyed it all. If we had to pick something it would be the uncertainty of the unknown, i.e. The Blue Lagoon changing rooms ! As my husband and I were not together in the male/female changing rooms we had to figure out the lockers, showers, towels etc or ask a fellow visitor. Luckily the lady from the Northern Lights Inn who drove us there in the shuttle bus gave us some pointers. The evening boat trip was amazing - we were fortunate to have clear skies and a calm sea and the northern lights appeared. I normally get sea-sick so wasn't looking forward to it beforehand. The guide on the boat (Eva) was brilliant.

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the hotel and the running buffet worked very well.I also felt there was the right amount of time to ourselves to explore Inari etc and it was always so nice to come back to a warm room after our activities.All the guides were really passionate and knowledgable which made each activity so interesting and enjoyable.

They were all fantastic, but for us the snowmobile Aurora hunt in our final night was fantastic due to the amazing display of lights we saw. Miko the guide was brilliant, he was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, he really made the trip a great memorable experience.

The food, activities and accommodation were all excellent. There were some really lovely staff at the accommodation too including an excellent barman at Harriniva. We would definitely recommend booking through The Aurora Zone! The customer service from The Aurora Zone has been excellent, along with our really helpful and friendly guide Katrina.

From our first enquiries via email which were always answered politely and promptly, through to leaving the accommodation for the airport everything went very smooth. Very well run operation on every front with our own Account we could log into for all the information and all of the detailed documents provided. The warm clothing was much appreciated. Very friendly staff and activity guides. Comfortable accommodation and the dome was lovely as was our little 2 bedroom hut. All staff were lovely. Very patient, good memories regarding food requirements, full of knowledge and happy to chat when time permitted. Possibly the only negative is that there is too much choice when looking at your websites!! It can be overwhelming when trying to compare offerings at each location and then trying to choose where to go.

An absolutely amazing holiday, definitely one for the Bucket List!

Our 4-day break to the Northern Lights Village in Finland staying in a glass-roofed igloo was a very special holiday, with extraordinary memories having been blessed to see the lights so clearly and we will treasure these memories forever! The glass-roofed igloo was so amazing being able to look up at the stars and lights from your bed! The igloo was also very clean and warm which was so important when outside temperatures were -20!! The restaurant had a great selection of food as well as the ice bar on site very cool! We packed in our trips as we were only there for 3 days but really enjoyed them all from snowshoeing to husky sledding and snow billing. We also thought it was fantastic to have some ski slopes so close to the village, so we took up this opportunity and did some skiing too! The guides and all other staff were brilliant, really knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay.

The museum visit and walk through the woods to the picnic spot. Having lunch in such an amazing location was fantastic. Our guide was brilliant! The dog sledding was fun too.

We thought the experience was amazing and feel extra lucky to have seen spectacular aurora shows every night. All the staff we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. The activities were wonderful, the place beautiful and we will definitely recommend Nangu to others.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel catered to my daughters Vegan diet with flair, she was very impressed! The location of Nangu was perfect! To be able to walk out of our room and see the lights over head was a dream come true. I thoroughly enjoyed walking across the frozen lake in snow shoes in the evening to view the Aurora. We only had a small group and it was magical! I was also very impressed with your administration. All of our information for flights, what to pack, etc at our finger tips in our own Aurora Zone account.

All the activities were brilliant but nothing beats handling the huskies. The whole holiday was fantastic. Thank you.

All very good indeed. No complaints about any of the planning or holiday accommodation or activities. We loved the snowmobiling but seeing the auroras was the most exciting. We loved everything really.

Really impressed with the hotel - all the staff were really friendly and the food was superb. Having spoken to some guests at the other hotel we were really pleased we’d gone for the Aurora.

All round great holiday again, in Inari and Nellim. Nellim Dog sledding, snowmobiling and walking locally, not forgetting awesome auroras Got some great still photos and videos of the aurora. Was a tad cold one night spent 2 hours out in -30 (on my thermometer)-----but what a display...wow. I have shot stills and videos of aurora in Greenland, Iceland and always find the best shows are in Finland. 

We had an amazing week couldn't fault it.

Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful so it seems unfair to mention individuals. But, I wanted to say how extremely impressed I was by all the activity guides. So very competent, professional and friendly. They made the trip for me. Please pass on if you can.

Huskies, snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoe safari and of course Northern lights were all wonderful. The area was so peaceful, beautiful and empty of people.

Aurora Hunting both snowmobile and camp. Why, because we saw the lights. After that Dog Sledging was the best.

The Wilderness Hotel Inari was exellent, the food was exellent, the staff were very good and helpful, all the activities were very good, all the guides were very knowledgeable and interesting and very helpful, the transfers from and to the airport worked well, and to top it all we saw the Aurora the last 4 nights we were there. What more could you ask?

We had a fantastic trip and were lucky enough to see the aurora on 4 nights. Well done for organising such a memorable trip and for being so organised with every detail.
