The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel catered to my daughters Vegan diet with flair, she was very impressed! The location of Nangu was perfect! To be able to walk out of our room and see the lights over head was a dream come true. I thoroughly enjoyed walking across the frozen lake in snow shoes in the evening to view the Aurora. We only had a small group and it was magical! I was also very impressed with your administration. All of our information for flights, what to pack, etc at our finger tips in our own Aurora Zone account.

We thought the experience was amazing and feel extra lucky to have seen spectacular aurora shows every night. All the staff we encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. The activities were wonderful, the place beautiful and we will definitely recommend Nangu to others.

All very good indeed. No complaints about any of the planning or holiday accommodation or activities. We loved the snowmobiling but seeing the auroras was the most exciting. We loved everything really.

All the activities were brilliant but nothing beats handling the huskies. The whole holiday was fantastic. Thank you.

The museum visit and walk through the woods to the picnic spot. Having lunch in such an amazing location was fantastic. Our guide was brilliant! The dog sledding was fun too.

Our 4-day break to the Northern Lights Village in Finland staying in a glass-roofed igloo was a very special holiday, with extraordinary memories having been blessed to see the lights so clearly and we will treasure these memories forever! The glass-roofed igloo was so amazing being able to look up at the stars and lights from your bed! The igloo was also very clean and warm which was so important when outside temperatures were -20!! The restaurant had a great selection of food as well as the ice bar on site very cool! We packed in our trips as we were only there for 3 days but really enjoyed them all from snowshoeing to husky sledding and snow billing. We also thought it was fantastic to have some ski slopes so close to the village, so we took up this opportunity and did some skiing too! The guides and all other staff were brilliant, really knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay.

Really impressed with the hotel - all the staff were really friendly and the food was superb. Having spoken to some guests at the other hotel we were really pleased we’d gone for the Aurora.

Excellent hotel, staff, knowledable and enthusiastic guides, great equipment to keep us warm and able to enjoy the cold trips during day and night time. Well run and smooth from start to finish. Would recommend to anyone.

All round great holiday again, in Inari and Nellim. Nellim Dog sledding, snowmobiling and walking locally, not forgetting awesome auroras. Got some great still photos and videos of the aurora. Was a tad cold one night spent 2 hours out in -30 (on my thermometer)-----but what a display...wow. I have shot stills and videos of aurora in Greenland, Iceland and always find the best shows are in Finland. 

Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful so it seems unfair to mention individuals. But, I wanted to say how extremely impressed I was by all the activity guides. So very competent, professional and friendly. They made the trip for me. Please pass on if you can.

Huskies, snowmobiling, skiing, snowshoe safari and of course Northern lights were all wonderful. The area was so peaceful, beautiful and empty of people.

The Wilderness Hotel Inari was exellent, the food was exellent, the staff were very good and helpful, all the activities were very good, all the guides were very knowledgeable and interesting and very helpful, the transfers from and to the airport worked well, and to top it all we saw the Aurora the last 4 nights we were there. What more could you ask?

We had a fantastic trip and were lucky enough to see the aurora on 4 nights. Well done for organising such a memorable trip and for being so organised with every detail.

Aurora Hunting both snowmobile and camp. Why, because we saw the lights. After that Dog Sledging was the best.

The Wilderness Hotel Inari was excellent, the food was excellent, the staff were very good and helpful, all the activities were very good, all the guides were very knowledgeable and interesting and very helpful, the transfers from and to the airport worked well, and to top it all we saw the Aurora the last 4 nights we were there. What more could you ask?

Really fabulous holiday! Loved every moment and especially thrilled to see the Northern Lights in all their glory on the last night. The staff at the hotel were all wonderful, very helpful and unfailingly cheerful and, I think, as happy to see the lights as we were, despite living there year round. We especially enjoyed the huskie sledging and meeting the puppies afterwards. Snowmobiling was a new and exciting experience and although we didn't participate the younger and fitter clients gave very good reports of snowshoeing and cross country skiing expeditions. The winter clothes provided by the hotel were excellent. It was a truly relaxing holiday and we were grateful for the experience of the tour company in booking the right balance of activities for us..... the rest day after two days of outdoor activities was blissful.... a short walk in the snow along the frozen lake, a sauna and book reading by the log fire :). The meals are well balanced and plentiful, served "homestyle" in as much as everyone has the same meal (unless previously arranged with the kitchen ). All in all one of the best holidays and we are already planning another trip next year January/February time.

The whole experience of visiting Finland and participating in the superbly organised activities exceeded our expectations.If there was any down side to the holiday, it was not seeing the Northern Lights. This we knew was a hit and miss situation and typically, they were visible 2 days after we left.

All great. Both husky rides and snowmobiles were good. As were the aurora hunting and the dip in the ice river was great!

The 20km husky safari and aurora camp were both very well run and enjoyable. The guides were knowledgeable and engaging. The description for both activities was accurate. I enjoyed that the hotel planned the aurora camp on the day were the sky was the clearest.

We all enjoyed the holiday hugely. Highlights were the location itself and the guides with their knowledge and friendliness.

Overall the holiday and whole experience was wonderful. We had wanted to visit Lapland for many years and this trip met and exceeded our expectations on this magical place. The hotel was wonderful with the accommodation, food and staff all excellent.

Fantastic holiday. Excellent organisation. Activities were very well run with friendly and informative guides. Topped off by an amazing show of the Lights on the final night.

From the moment we enquired on the telephone to heading home it was the best holiday we have had. Every organised day and night was well planned and the guides were brilliant, certainly not a short adventure for each event. The log cabin I fulfilled my dream of diving in the snow after our own sauna! The under floor heating ensured clothes where dry for the next adventure also, perfect for us as we our not hotel people. On Daniels Birthday we had the amazing husky day with a surprise birthday cake. In the evening we headed to a remote camp over the big lake to wait for the aurora. Jonny our guide made a great fire and we then saw the aurora, what an amazing day, what a memory. So pleased we had a recommendation for your holiday.

We have been to two other resorts in Finland with very similar packages (booked via you and Artisan) both of which were very good in their own respect. This package at Nellim was excellent all round. The guides all had their own destinations at different locations on Lake Inari all were friendly, helpful and interesting. The organisation was perfect - you're given an allotted time to get your winter clothing, notice boards have the following days excursions with names in the group and the guides name, all the excursions start from or very close to the Hotel. The room was neat, tidy and warm with under floor heating (very helpful for drying damp clothing) Good hanging space for the oversuits. Washroom with shower. Beds comfortable and warm even when -26c outside. The reception always had friendly staff, infact all the staff were friendly and helpful. The rep was waiting at the airport she gave us a informative chat on the journey to the Hotel. The buffet system for meals was very good and we always had a table available. Plenty of areas in the main building to relax throughout the day with free Tea coffee and WiFi. Everywhere was always clean and tidy. When the sad day of departure loomed, the pick up times and names were on the notice board the evening before. Our departure was at 6:20am, breakfast is normally served at 8:00am to 10:am but there was a full breakfast buffet open for us at 6am. The Holiday was over all to quickly but we had an amazing time and I'm sure well go back to Nellim. Thank You Peter Baxter and Penny Whiteman
