I loved watching the Northern Lights and experiencing a husky safari!

Husky ride- great experience and very enjoyable

Alan the local guide was incredible in all aspects. Fantastic. Cabins were super, food lovely, activities with equipment and advice excellent - can't fault the whole experience. All activities were well organised but New Year's Eve with the Northern Lights was out of this world. Right on cue - good mix and right order to experience.

The trip was altogether fantastic, we really enjoyed our experience at Harriniva. Everything was perfectly well organized, the activities included were great, the food excellent, the cabins warm and comfortable, and the staff always helpful and friendly. We were worried about not being able to stand such a freezing weather but, even though these days of the last week of December temperatures went down to -30ºC, thanks to the equipment provided and the clothes we carried following the dossier suggestions, we had no problems with it. And the best of all is that three out of the four nights we were able to see the Northern Lights, we couldn't believe it, we were so lucky!!! We will always remember this fabulous, special and unique holiday.

It was a magical holiday from start to finish.

Reindeer day - It combined a bunch of activities into the one day i.e. snowmobilling, feeding reindeer, ice fishing etc. Husky Sledding - The dogs are just amazing!

Difficult to choose, but we think the snowmobiling. It was the most fun, and you got to see a wide variety of the surrounding country. It was warmer than the husky sledding, which probably comes a close second! The staff and guides were brilliant. Especially the kitchen which really did a fantastic job of feeding the hordes with great food. The activities were just right, and we were very fortunate to get four consecutive nights when the aurora were visible.

We loved our cabin at the Northern Lights Village. Husky sledge driving was great fun with good instruction.

Everyone in my party loved our trip to Saariselka. The hotel is cozy, the activities are fun, and the location is just beautiful! The most enjoyable activity was the husky sledding. It's so much fun! We had a unique experience for sure! Our second most enjoyable activity was the snowshoeing followed by lunch prepared on a wood fired oven. It sounded like the perfect adventure. During our way we could see animal's footprints on the snow, enjoy the amazing all white landscape and, in the end, eat a delicious food. It's a great holiday. We're used to wonderful trips and 5* hotels and I can say that we had an unforgettable experience. We want to go back this year!

An Excellent holiday. Matt the local rep was excellent - always attentive and ensuring everyone had a good time. Really helpful with cameras, taking pictures of us and general info on the Northern LIghts.

It was a brilliant holiday. The food was wonderful - great variety and quality. The activities were great fun and our main guide was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile. We thought he was great!

Snowshoeing through a snow-covered moonlit forest to a frozen lake where the Northern Lights danced overhead! Brilliant!

Loved seeing the Aurora and having Matt happily take photos for us so that we could just be in the moment was fantastic! We loved the trip as it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Family run resort. Very well run. Hope they will keep up their good work. We will be back.

We loved all the activities, but the husky ride must have been our absolute favorite. The hotel staff was absolutely amazing, considering all the issues they had to deal with, with a brand new opened Hotel. They were super professional, friendly and warm. We lov d the entire atmosphere of the resort. It felt like a welcoming and warm home away from home. We truly had a very special Christmas experience we will never forget. The guides are absolutely awesome and very knowledgeable.

Our tour Guide Scotty was amazing, an amazing amount of knowledge backed up by a great attitude - He definitely turned the trip from a great one into an amazing one.We really enjoyed the husky sled tour and husky visit - and seeing the Northern Lights was a great bonus

Such a great experience. Guides were excellent. We had Pim Mila and Anthony and all had exceptional knowledge were fun and made the trip enjoyable. The room was lovely and definitely worth the upgrade to a lodge with a private sauna which we made great use of. We had a bubble too which was also a great experience. The trips are planned so well and it still feels relaxed and not rushed but making good use of the time we had. All the activities were a good amount of time so we really got the best of the experiences. Food was great. I'm quite fussy and don't eat fish but didn't struggle for choices. I really liked that the group sizes were small. We never had more than 10 in our group which was perfect. This was a gift for my husband's 30th birthday and he had the best birthday ever. It was so easy to do all the admin on the own and every time I had a question you answered it. The trip was amazing and really once in a life time experience.

I enjoyed everything. Snowmobiles - got plenty of time on them and plenty of exploration; Reindeer Day - plenty of time, feeding reindeers, the farm, ice fishing, husky safari - nice to be at one with the animals and the landscape.

We loved the snowmobiling and particularly enjoyed our time just the two of us with a guide where we went ice fishing and were able to snowmobile over to the spot. We absolutely loved our time away in Nellim, it lived up to all expectations and beyond. We would recommend to anyone. Aurora Zone made it very easy for us and the location of the hotel and choice of activities was amazing.

Dog sledding, would be top but generally the whole experience and remoteness of Nellim is the main attraction from day 1. We were never disappointed. Again very lucky with the weather and had three nights clear and three nights of Aurora , two being very good and the other breathtaking..even if it was forecasted KP1/2. I have been lucky to witness the Aurora over 20 times and on 26th it just blew up - a very high speed display which I was able to record live using my Sony A7S.. I have photographed Aurora in Iceland, Greenland and Nellim........ Nellim has always been the best. with daytime temperatures on one day of -30 c, to experience walking around the woods in those conditions for over an hour is amazing. Just outstanding..the whole experience and the team at The Aurora Zone are just brilliant and a real pleasure to talk with.

The hotel is fantastic and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere and the most beautiful location. My husband loved the snowmobile and dog sledding - anything with an engine ;) I really enjoyed the dogs - driving the sledge through snow covered forest was magical but I thought the cross country skiing was also brilliant. I would like to say a very big Thank You for the wine you gave us for his 60th birthday and the local rep, Matt, had also left a birthday card for him. Your attention to detail is to be commended and I will tell everyone who will listen to use The Aurora Zone if they are considering a trip to Lapland. The holiday exceeded our expectations and they were very high to start with so well done and thank you once again for making this a birthday to remember.

It was a magical holiday from start to finish. We saw the Northern Lights on three nights of our seven-night stay.

All the Guides we had were great, loved snowmobiling and husky safari. Thank you for your help with this adventure.

The activities were so enjoyable - they so different to what we get at home

The guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their activity and the area. They made the trip! Really enjoyed spending time with Petri and seeing the reindeers so close. It was interesting to learn the Sámi culture and to learn the importance of reindeer to the community.

Had an amazing time all staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble, the hotel and food was fantastic especially the night in the Kota

Amazing trip. Lodge was fantastic. Staff was fantastic. Finnair worked very hard. Gatwick staff as well.

Really enjoyed searching for the northern lights, enjoyed the time on the Fells, dog sledding was a fun experience, small group experience was welcomed. Matt was extremely helpful with all questions, generous with his time to teach the group planetary patterns in the sky above us, helped everyone how to better take photos of the night sky.

Enjoyable days and very lucky with the weather sunny and cold.  Everything went smoothly.
