Itinerary

Arriving at Tromsø airport, you’ll get settled into your hotel for a relaxing night before travelling to the far north. Your hotel puts you in the heart of Tromsø so you’re in a great location to take a stroll into the bustling centre and sample the local food.
Included Meals: None

After breakfast in the morning, it’s time to fly to Norway’s Arctic Archipelago and the island of Spitsbergen. Following a short transfer, you’ll arrive in the northernmost town on the planet, Longyearbyen.
The small, yet bustling town centre is full of opportunities to taste Arctic dishes and local delicacies. We recommend visiting one of the many eateries for a spectacular start to your stay in Spitsbergen.
Included Meals: Breakfast

Following breakfast, you’ll take a tour of Longyearbyen with a knowledgeable local guide. You’ll explore the main attractions before driving through the stunning surrounding valley and looking out for the local Svalbard reindeer. There will be plenty of stops to take photos of the landscape, flora, and fauna before you visit the Global Seed Vault – a site of huge importance. You will be out for approximately two hours.
Tonight, you’ll get your first taste of the magic of the Arctic wilderness. You’ll travel out of town and to the mountainous Advent Valley where a special wilderness camp awaits. Here, you are in prime Aurora territory.
Upon arrival, you’ll be met by the evening’s host who will welcome you with drinks and homemade food around the campfire. Your knowledgeable host will help you keep watch for the Northern Lights as you enjoy a real Svalbard meal. You will be out for approximately 3 hours.
Included Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Today, following breakfast, you’ll explore the wilderness further. Jumping onto an electric snowmobile, these quiet machines will allow you to experience the Arctic silence as you move swiftly over the snowy trails.
Without the disturbance of sound, you’re less likely to disrupt the wildlife in the area. Your guide will be on the lookout for reindeer, polar foxes, and polar bears. You will be out for approximately 3 hours. Please note, you must hold a driving licence and be over 18 to drive a snowmobile.
Tonight, you’ll get another opportunity to search for the Northern Lights. You’ll travel in unique style on a snowcat – with ample window space to keep your eyes on the skies. Making your way out of town and into the darkness, you’ll be in an excellent Northern Lights location where hopefully, the green lights will start to dance. You will be out for approximately 2.5 hours.
Included Meals: Breakfast

Fill up on breakfast because today, you’ll get to experience the exceptional Arctic activity of a husky safari. Upon first meeting them, the dogs will sound very loud and excited as they are as eager as you to start the trip. Once they take to the trails, all you’ll hear is the sounds of the paws on the snow and your sled being gently pulled into the vast valley. You’ll travel two or three per sled and will each have the opportunity to try mushing.
Back at the husky centre, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the rest of the huskies for cuddles and photographs. You will be out for approximately 4 hours.
Included Meals: Breakfast

Today it is unfortunately time for your Spitsbergen trip to come to an end. Following breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home
