Jauri Resort is a peaceful lakeside retreat in the heart of Finnish Lapland, situated on the shores of Lake Pöyliöjärvi in the small town of Kemijärvi. Surrounded by forests and beautiful Arctic scenery, it offers a wonderful combination of natural tranquillity, comfortable accommodation and easy access to the experiences that make a Lapland holiday so special. The resort is close to the town centre, so while you can enjoy the feeling of being close to nature, local restaurants, shops and supermarkets are within easy reach.
The setting is a particular highlight, with the lake providing a beautiful backdrop throughout the changing seasons. In winter, the landscape transforms into a peaceful Arctic wonderland, with snow-covered trees
and frozen lake views. As darkness falls, the northern sky offers the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights, making the resort a lovely base for those hoping to experience this natural phenomenon.
Jauri offers several styles of accommodation, from modern hotel rooms overlooking the lake to traditional log cabins with private saunas and spacious apartments for families and groups. Whether you prefer the convenience of a hotel or the privacy of your own cabin, there is an option to suit different styles of travel. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it easy to unwind after a day exploring the surrounding wilderness.
