- Details
Details
Newly opened in December 2025, Northern Lights Village in Ivalo offers an intimate boutique retreat in the heart of Finland's far North. With just six guest rooms and space for only sixteen guests, this peaceful hideaway offers a warm, personal atmosphere and exceptional attention to detail.
Tucked beside a husky farm, the village combines Arctic adventure with comfort and charm. For a truly unforgettable night, one night will be spent in one of three Aurora Kotas, where a glass roof lets you drift off beneath the shimmering Northern Lights, all while keeping your original cozy room.
Ivalo sits high above the Arctic Circle at the heart of the Aurora Zone, offering ideal conditions for witnessing nature's most magical light show. The included activities bring Lapland's wonders to life: chase the Northern Lights, ride with huskies, glide through snowy forests on heated sleigh rides, speed across frozen landscapes by snowmobile, and ice fishing on crystal-clear lakes.
From exhilarating adventures to serene Arctic nights, every moment at Northern Lights Village is designed to create memories that will sparkle long after your journey ends.

Back at the kennel, help unharness and feed the huskies, a rewarding conclusion to a truly authentic Lapland adventure. This longer safari is recommended for guests with some prior husky experience.
After returning to the lodge for dinner, embark on your second chance to witness the Northern Lights.
