Liz Burnell-Laing

Originally from Buckinghamshire, Liz moved to the North East three years ago and now lives on a farm in the beautiful Northumberland countryside. Farm life has given her the chance to get involved with lambing each spring, although she is happy to leave the more challenging jobs to the real experts!

Liz joined the team in 2025 and has loved being part of such an experienced and supportive group of people. Working alongside colleagues who share a genuine passion for creating unforgettable travel experiences makes every day enjoyable.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find her exploring the outdoors with her dog, Arlo. Whether they’re walking through the countryside or along one of the North East’s stunning beaches, she love spending as much time outside as possible.

When it comes to travel, Sicily is Liz’s favourite destination and a place she returns to whenever she can with her husband. One of her most unforgettable experiences was climbing Mount Etna and watching the sun set from the summit while seeing the lava glowing below – a truly incredible sight that she will never forget.
