Included Meals: Dinner

Your day begins with a classic Lapland adventure: a husky safari. Guiding a team of lively dogs is often a guest favourite and offers a thrilling way to travel through the winter wilderness. After the initial burst of energy, the run settles into a calm, steady pace as the dogs lead you across quiet trails and through forests coated in snow and frost.
Before you set off, your guide will explain everything you need to know. Two people share each sled, taking turns between driving and sitting back to enjoy the view. The full activity lasts around two hours with approximately one hour on the dogsled.
In the evening, the focus shifts to the night sky and the hunt for the Aurora. You will travel in a sleigh pulled by your guide’s snowmobile to a dedicated Aurora Camp chosen for its position away from light pollution and its open outlook. If the skies are clear and the conditions are right, you may witness the Northern Lights sweeping overhead. The outing lasts about two and a half hours and offers a peaceful, atmospheric end to your day.
Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Your day begins with a peaceful snowshoeing excursion. Moving at an easy pace, you wander through quiet forests and snowy trails, getting as close to nature as it is possible to be.
After lunch, the tempo lifts as you head out for an afternoon of snowmobiling. Following your guide across open fells and frozen lakes, feeling the thrill of travelling deeper into the wilderness. The scenery shifts continuously, from forest trails to wide panoramas. Your local guide will give you instructions on how to drive your snowmobile before you set off, travelling two per snowmobile. Please note, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license to drive a snowmobile.
As evening approaches, you can opt to hunt the Lights from outside the hotel but of course you can also choose to add one last adventure to your stay: a Northern Lights hunt. Whether by car, sleigh or at a dedicated viewing spot, this would be a fitting and memorable way to bring your time in Lapland to a close. Please speak to one of our Travel Experts to discuss the options.
