Itinerary

Begin your Arctic journey with an accessible private airport transfer and personalised assistance at your accommodation. Enjoy a short orientation to prepare for the exciting days ahead.
There are many restaurants and bars nearby for you to explore. Alternatively, enjoy an evening meal in the hotel and be sure to check out Tromsø’s only sky bar located on the hotel’s 11th floor. The bar boasts unrivalled rooftop city views.

Embark on a scenic minibus journey through the breathtaking fjords of Kvaløya and Sommarøy. This tour offers an intimate encounter with Norway’s rugged coastline, featuring stops at three of the region’s most iconic fjords and the picturesque Kattfjordeidet valley. Keep an eye out for local wildlife, such as reindeer, in their natural surroundings. Upon reaching the charming island of Sommarøy, often referred to as “the Summer Island,” delight in a warm, two-course lunch at the Sommarøy Arctic Hotel, complete with tea or coffee.
The return trip along Kvaløya’s southeast coast presents stunning views of the Sund and Malangen mountains, making for a truly memorable experience. This approximately 5.5-hour tour is designed with accessibility in mind, featuring wheelchair-friendly transport and accommodating up to 15 participants.
This evening Set sail into the magical Arctic night and search for the Northern Lights while you enjoy a delicious locally inspired dinner aboard this floating restaurant. As you glide silently through the dark waters surrounding Tromsø, the electric engine (used for 75% of the tour) ensures a quiet and sustainable cruise experience.
Relax by the panoramic windows with a drink while the breathtaking fjords unfold before you. Your onboard chef prepares a modern twist on traditional Northern Norwegian dishes, crafted from fresh, locally sourced, and seasonal ingredients. (Please inform us of any dietary requirements in advance.) Your experience lasts approximately three hours. Complimentary water is available throughout the evening, and drinks from the fully stocked bar can be purchased separately.

Today, you will have the opportunity to experience the rich heritage of the Sámi community with an immersive visit to a traditional reindeer farm. Engage directly with the herders, gaining insight into their time-honoured customs and way of life. Participate in feeding the herd of 300 reindeer and feel the thrill of a sled ride, all while surrounded by the pristine Arctic landscape. Afterwards, gather around an open fire to savour a meal prepared in the traditional Sámi manner, offering a genuine taste of their culinary traditions.
To ensure comfort for all guests, the facility provides accessible amenities, including toilets, thermal clothing, and electric blankets for wheelchair users. Given the challenging terrain, dedicated assistance is readily available throughout the experience.
Later, embark on your Aurora Borealis chase with accessible facilities and warm refreshments. Nothing could be more enchanting than witnessing the spectacular Northern Lights first-hand. Hopefully they’ll make an appearance and bestow you with a wonderful display. A soup dinner will be taken during the tour; you may wish to have a light snack before heading out or you can also take additional snacks with you.

47 days: Full payment due
