Abbey Drury
Abbey is originally from Durham but is now a student at Northumbria University in Newcastle, studying psychology and criminology, and has a passion for travel and exploring new cities alongside embracing different cultures.
Abbey has a love for city breaks and has had the opportunity to explore many across Europe, such as Zadar, Malaga, Venice, Paris, Faro and Amsterdam, however she is yet to visit any Scandinavian destinations on her to-do list. Abbey is excited to expand her scientific knowledge behind the lights and see them with her own eyes, as well as tasting the local cuisine of Scandinavian dishes, such as reindeer.
One of Abbey’s winter bucket list destinations is to witness the northern lights in Finland, and spend the night in an Aurora Dome to experience the natural phenomenon from the comfort of her room. Abbey likes to practise her photography skills, so the Northern Lights Photography exhibition is the perfect chance for her to do this.
Abbey has been a part of The Aurora Zone team since March 2022. Working in the travel industry allows Abbey to give the same experience to customers as she has received herself. At The Aurora Zone, the team pride themselves in delivering an unforgettable holiday to all customers by providing expert advice and working alongside friendly tour guides in all destinations.
