See their faces light up as you take the exhilarating funicular railway up Mount Fløien to experience the most spectacular views in the city, meet mountain goats and giant trolls - if youre a walking family, this is the place to do it! With some great outdoor play areas on the way down, and even slides that the parents can go try too, you can walk back down the mountain and play along the way.
Once you have soaked up Norways famous natural beauty, youll visit its largest aquarium and one of the most popular attractions for all ages in Bergen. You and your family will learn all about Norwegian marine life as you discover an array of sea animals.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to Bergen – just 30 minutes away.
This walkable city will welcome you with open arms as you stroll the streets easily from your family-friendly hotel. Tonight, you will enjoy a light evening meal at the hotel.

Today, following breakfast, you’ll take a round-trip cruise from Bergen to experience the spectacular fjord scenery. Get in prime viewing position on the sun deck as you journey up the 27-kilometre-long Osterfjord and witness the fjord narrow between steep mountains and along the Mostraumen strait.
You’ll also sail straight up to a waterfall to catch a bucket of fresh mountain water to sample before you return through the awe-inspiring landscape and back to Bergen.
Tonight, a light dinner is provided at the hotel.

Today you and your family will experience more of Norway’s stunning landscape. Following breakfast, you’ll step onto the funicular “Fløien” railway which takes you to the top of Mount Fløien in just six minutes. The views on this exciting journey get better the higher you travel, reaching its pinnacle when you step off the train and take in panoramic scenes of the city, harbour, surrounding mountains, and stunning waters. With a great playpark at the top of the mountain, and friendly mountain goats wondering around.
At the top, there is a restaurant, cafe, and souvenir shop as well as many varied trails for a leisurely hike. If you want a longer walk, you could opt to walk down instead of riding the funicular, which takes approximately 40 minutes. On the way down, there are many playparks on the way, with slides for the parents too!
This afternoon, you’ll get to experience Bergen’s biggest tourist attraction, the National Aquarium. Perfect for all ages, you’ll learn all about the ocean and its marine life as well as the Norwegian marine fauna. You and your family will gain deep insights into the fascinating life below water as you discover different sea animals.
Tonight, a light meal will be provided at the hotel or you can opt to dine in one of Bergen’s many restaurants.

Today it is unfortunately time for your family short break to come to an end. Following breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home.

The Havenekontoret Hotel is a historic hotel located in the heart of Bergen, close to many of the city’s top attractions, including Bryggen, the fish market, and the Fløibanen funicular which is featured on your itinerary. The hotel occupies a beautiful 18th-century building that has been carefully restored and renovated to offer modern amenities and comfortable accommodations.
