Rachel Ciappara
Rachel grew up in Brighton and has always had a fondness of the sea and being near water. Having worked in travel and tourism since leaving school the travel bug has always been there. But it was back in 1999 her travels took her to Lapland and upon landing it was love at first sight. After returning year after year, it expanded to her living there for over 15 years. Having now moved back to the UK and joined the sales team she loves matching people with their perfect holidays and sharing her passion for all the destinations, it has to be said though a huge part of her heart remains in Lapland.
Favourite Experiences
- Being in Norway on a Zodiac boat, watching the birds fly and the sun set whist a pod of Orcas surrounded the boat
- The overnight husky safari in Harriniva, heading out into the silent wilderness, spending a night in a cabin and switching off from the world
- Taking children to find Santa, and watching the joy it brings ( and normally end up crying as its just so emotional!)
- Driving through Lapland in Autumn time, watching the amazing show of colours that nature brings combine with evening auroras dancing in the sky and reflecting on the lakes
- Just simply watching the Northern Lights, and being lucky enough to have seen some of those really amazing ones that light up the whole sky that you can never forget
