Hotelli Metsähirvas
Hotelli Metsähirvas brick building was completed in 1931 and was home to the old forest rangers school. It is one of the few buildings that survived the war in Rovaniemi. In 2018, construction of the hotel began and opened its doors to guests in December of that year. The buildings history and ecology has been preserved and celebrated throughout the hotel exemplified by the artwork displayed in the corridors.
Rooms here are peaceful and tastefully decorated. Some boast views towards the river and all feature a flat screen TV, complimentary wi-fi, en-suite bathroom, a kettle and mini fridge.
