Climate Care is a service that helps you to repair the damage your activities do to the climate. It does this by ‘offsetting’ the greenhouse gas emissions, such as CO2, from your activities by reducing an equivalent amount of CO2 on your behalf. These reductions are made through a range of projects in renewable energy and energy efficiency, which not only fight climate change but bring benefits to communities round the world.
You can offset emissions from flying, driving and household energy use. To find out more please click here.
We have two partner companies who can provide you with Airport parking, hotels and lounges. Pre-book any of these services through our partners and you can save up to 25% on your Airport parking, hotels or lounges.

Wrapping up warm
There is no need to buy lots of expensive cold weather clothing before your holiday. We want to make your life as easy as possible so as a minimum you will be provided with:
• Insulated thermo overalls
• Winter boots
In many destinations you will also be provided with mittens, socks, warm hat and gloves.
The equipment provided should keep you comfortably warm. However, the weather in Scandinavia can vary from month to month and can be unpredictable. In colder temperatures (usually December to February) you should be prepared to wear full winter clothing under your overalls. Such items include thermal underwear, jogging bottoms, possibly two warm fleeces and a jacket or ski jacket. In warmer temperatures you can wear less underneath the overalls. It is also important to take into account the type of activity you will be taking part in each day. Activities such as snowshoeing and cross country skiing require you to be able to move freely and due to the energetic nature of the activity you don’t want to wear too much and overheat. Activities such as riding in a reindeer sleigh will require more layers as you move around much less. An example of what you will need to wear:
- Base layer - thermal underwear, thin socks
- Middle layer - turtle neck or fleece sweater (wool is the best material), cotton or fleece trousers and woollen socks
- Top layer - loose fitting snow boots to allow circulation and insulated thermo overalls
All the little extras to remember!
We will provide you with a detailed kit list outlining the essentials that you should take with you.
Recommended items include: thermal underwear, sunglasses, balaclava, head torch with spare batteries,
swimming costume (for swimming and saunas).
